Review: The Prince
Author: Niccolo Machiavelli
I have finally read “The Prince”. It has been referenced in a lot of the work I have been consuming. The time had come to learn about what it is to be Machiavellian. It belongs next to Sun Xu’s “The Art of War” as a guide to thinking about strategy in life, especially when concerned with political power. It is good to know, but I doubt I will be a Prince anywhere. It provides a useful lens through which to look at our contemporary Prince’s. I will hold it in the back of my mind in the contemplation of life.
